Meet The Team - Daniel Carr

adform creative is a family-owned business and we want our clients to feel like a part of the family too! That's why we want to introduce you to some of the key members of our team, starting with Production Manager Daniel Carr.

Here at adform, Dan is in charge of ensuring that your orders are delivered on time, every time.

Prior to joining Adform, Dan spent the last 10 years working for The Agora Companies, overseeing order and fulfillment processing, quality assurance, and the overall operations procedures.

During his last 4 years with Agora, Dan served as Operations Director for Port Phillip Publishing, their affiliate located in Melbourne, Australia.

He says the biggest surprise about his work experience was the diversity of the office staff and of Melbourne. Of course, he had coworkers from Australia, but also New Zealand, India, Sri Lanka, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Russia, China, Colombia, England, Canada, and USA...just to name a few!

With his projects completed and his work visa expiring, Dan decided to return to the U.S. to pursue his next challenge, which landed him here with us at adform.

"I was excited with the opportunity to join adform. I have not worked for a company like this in all my life," Dan said. "It is the smallest company I've worked for in terms of size, but by far it's filled with the most passionate staff I've ever encountered. The saying 'failure is not an option' is a way of life here and it is infectious."

5 Fun Facts About Dan

• How many promotional products do you own?
If you include t-shirts and bags, it would be hard to give a number, a lot for sure. I have a pretty big t-shirt and baseball cap collection and it's got to be a cool shirt or hat to make it into the rotation - I'm not going to dive for a t-shirt shot from a cannon at an O's game, but I will buy a cool concert T for a favorite band or a baseball hat I can't get anywhere else. One favorite hat I have is a simple black trucker mesh hat for Project PCU (Project Clean Uluwatu) I got it in Bali, Indonesia, it was to help support educating people on the island to keep the waters clean.

• What's your favorite food?
I've got a sweet tooth, so ice cream waffle will nudge out bakery fresh hand made donuts. I love a medium rare steak, I'm a pizza snob and love a thin crust hand tossed pizza.

• What's your favorite promotional product?
When you show it to a friend they have to say "cool, I want one!" - the phone fan that we [adform] did for L3 was a big hit when I showed one to my friends at a wine fest and we were sitting under a tree on a hot day. Any cool technology piece, Tile is still one of my favorites (GPS devise). S'Well bottles are great because everyone can use one.

• What's your favorite vehicle brand?
I love cars from the 60s and 70s - especially rare japanese (1967 Toyota 2000GT) and european cars (1964-1966 Ferrari 275 GTS).

• What do you like to do when you aren't working?
I've been a Ravens season ticket holder since the very first game. I think I'm heading into 22 years now as a season ticket holder, you will also find me at O's games, concerts and events.
