In the News: Peloton Diversifies Into Branded Apparel

By admin on Oct 27, 2021 9:22:42 AM

Peloton, the popular exercise-equipment producer, has made a splash in the world of activewear with the launch of its own private-label apparel brand. Their autumn 2021 collection includes a range of pieces that the company says have been wear-tested by Peloton members and instructors.

In 2014 Peloton began selling apparel  in direct response to member demand, dropping seasonal and cultural collections in collaboration with a variety of brand partners such as Lululemon and Nike. Earlier this year, Peloton paired up with Adidas for a set featuring unisex styles. Their latest curation, made available earlier this fall, features a mix of men's and women's cuts.

Jill Foley, wife of Peloton’s founder and CEO John Foley and vice president of Peloton's apparel, inferred the apparel has been developed with input from instructors and tailored to support its members. “With each collection, we’re offering reliable pieces that support your sweatiest days, your busiest days, your rest days and beyond,” she stated in a press release. “Our goal with this brand is to enhance our members’ lifestyles, not just one part of their day.”

Peloton Apparel will include a line of signature styles offered each season, but with new colorways and design elements in each performance-tested drop. The apparel features four fabric types which offer different comforts: Peloton Cadent Fabric, Peloton Lite Lines Fabric, Peloton Move Mission Fabric, and Peloton Essential Fabric.

Case Study: Brand Consistency - The Framework for Success

By admin on Aug 4, 2021 10:30:08 AM

If we pause to consider the world's most recognizable brands, we know that simply an icon or color can remind us of a brand. Think of the Adidas pyramid or YouTube play button—even the type of music you hear in a commercial can immediately bring to mind the brand sponsoring the ad. A few years ago Coca-Cola released a surprisingly minimalist soda can in the Middle East. Take a look—can you guess what's inside?

Case Study: Summer Travel Plans? Get The Gear To Ready. Jet-Set. Go.

By admin on Jun 9, 2021 12:18:42 PM

From the recent irregular flight schedules and trip cancellations, to the usual missed connections, weather delays, and turbulent landings, many times the experiences we encounter while traveling are beyond our control. Given all of the pieces that have to fall into place prior to takeoff, it's important to plan ahead with gear that will help to relieve potential traveling headaches.

First, pick the right bag for the job. A great bag should be not only compact (for storing in an overhead bin, or better yet, under the seat in front of you), but also well organized for keeping all of your things easy to access and protected in transit. Whether it's a sleek and elegant backpack with a separate zippered compartment for dirty sneakers, or a duffel with outer pockets that close securely, yet rapidly, to prevent holding up the line at Security, we'll get you from point A to B in style.

Case Study: Drydene Oil's Program

By admin on May 6, 2021 10:14:30 AM

a story about an ice bucket.

Drydene Oil is a manufacturer of high performance engine oils, greases, hydraulic and transmission fluids that increase the life and efficiency of your equipment. It was a warm summer day when the founder of Adform Creative, Eric Waskey, walked into Drydene Oil’s headquarters in north Baltimore with an idea. Waskey met with Trip Dryden, the owner's son, and presented him the idea - an ice bucket, which represented the shape of a drum of oil, custom printed with the Drydene Oil logo, to be used as a client gift. Trip was impressed with the ingenuity of the idea and asked Waskey to leave the sample bucket with him so he could show it to his father. Later that afternoon, Trip called Waskey and placed an order for 150 ice buckets - the first of many reorders to follow. This ice bucket became something of an icon for Drydene Oil over the course of many years and graced the front cover of the product offering Adform Creative managed for them.

Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is a nonprofit charity that builds and donates handicap-adapted custom homes for post-9/11 Veterans who have sustained severe injuries, allowing them to rebuild their lives.  The HFOT homes restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrifice while defending our country, and enable them to focus on family, finances, and employment.  After returning from service abroad, these heroes are able to recover in a setting they can call their own.  HFOT builds these homes where the Veteran chooses to live, and continues its relationship with the Veterans after home delivery to assist them with rebuilding their lives.

How We Got Here: A Thankful Culture.

By John on Jul 18, 2019 12:01:56 PM

Eric Waskey, patriarch of the Adform Creative family, grew up as a butcher in the meat business in Baltimore’s Lexington Market, one of the longest-running markets in the world. In 1965 Eric took over his father’s business. In the early 70s, he began phasing himself out of the meat business and working part-time for Lucas Brothers selling ad vertising specialties. By 1978 Eric founded Forms for Business selling, well, business forms and Premium Jobbers selling branded merchandise. He set up shop in his backyard barn. Now, over 40 years later, Adform Creative is a thriving, third-generation company that serves several divisions within 700 brands, globally.

CAT's Clever Thank You Gifts For Customers | Welcome Promotional Kits

By John on Sep 14, 2017 2:42:00 PM

Ransome (now foley) CAT's Promotional Kits Are a Clever Thank You Gift For Customers

Adform customers are very clever. They’re always finding new ways to use promotional kits and marketing items to meet business goals. For example, Caterpillar dealer, Ransome, created a welcome promotional kit program to thank its customers and build loyalty. “We are quite close to our customers,” notes Nilsa Rosario, Marketing Coordinator at Ransome CAT. “The kits add a personal touch to the new-machine delivery process and welcome customers into the Ransome CAT family.”

Customers don’t just accept delivery of their new Caterpillar backhoe, dozer or loader. On the big day, their Ransome CAT representative is present during delivery to make sure everything goes smoothly. The representative does a walk-around and reviews safety features with the customer. “The welcome kit is handed to the customer as a personal thank you,” adds Rosario. A few weeks later, the rep follows up with the customer to make sure everything is going well and field questions the customer might have. The promotional kits always come up in those conversations.

Caterpillar is a customer-centric organization. The company wants CAT customers to feel appreciated and happy about their purchase. CAT dealers are no different, though they may offer different programs. Ransome decided on these thank you gifts for their customers as a nice gesture.

The promotional kit program started about a year ago. Adform produces and assembles each customer appreciation kit, which includes a professional looking, branded padfolio, journal, pen, and USB flash drive. Ransome loads the drive with useful information, including specs and manuals for the machinery purchased, service & support offerings, and contact information for their local Ransome branch office. The cherry on top is a personal thank-you letter from the Ransome president.

Ransome's thank you gifts for their customers have been well received. “They see the support we provide right from the beginning, and they appreciate the personal touch we add,” said Rosario. It’s gone so well that Ransome plans to extend the promotional kit program to customers who purchase used equipment, too. “It’s a little thing. But it’s sincere, and it makes a difference in customer loyalty.”

Rosario is thinking of creating new customer thank you kits every year, or offering different kits to customers who make additional purchases. "Some customers buy CAT machines several times per year," she explains. "They would appreciate receiving other items, such as a tumbler." As the number and types of promotional kits increase so would the program's complexity.  So, Rosario is also thinking about having Adform manage the inventory and shipping logistics in the future.

In the meantime, Ransome's welcome kit program is doing a great job fulfilling Caterpillar's goal of making customers feel appreciated and happy about their purchase.
